
CALL FOR ABSTRACTS
All NDSU graduate students are invited to present their research, teaching, outreach, or creative endeavors in the 1st Annual NDSU Graduate Research and Arts Forum on April 29, 2009 at 2:00pm in the Hidatsa Room, second floor Memorial Union.
This event is being hosted by the NDSU Graduate Student Association to showcase graduate student contributions to the university and beyond.

1:30-2:00 Setup Posters
2:00-4:00 Poster Session
Light snacks will be provided.
Guidelines:
- All research, creative, teaching, or outreach projects are welcome.
- Each participant will have a surface on which to display either a poster (research, teaching, outreach) or static visual arts piece (creative). Maximum dimensions are 48” x 60”.
- Forum organizers will attempt to make other types of presentations of creative endeavors possible if indicated on the registration form.
- Each entry must be accompanied by a registration form and abstract (see instructions below).
- Participants may submit more than one entry, but registration forms should be completed for each individual abstract.
Abstract Instructions:
- Abstracts should be no longer than 200 words (not including title or authors) and should be one paragraph in length (no breaks or multiple paragraphs).
- Abstracts should be written in a style appropriate for your field.
- Abstracts must contain a concise description of the research being conducted, creative effort being showcased, or teaching/outreach program being highlighted.
- Each abstract should include the graduate student presenting it as the lead author, and include other collaborators if desired.
- Abstracts must be emailed as Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx) with registration forms to info@ndsugsa.com.
